The Roberts Spot-Spitter, now made by Primerus Products,  is the most efficient way to irrigate mid to large sized nursery containers. The accurate, miniature spray pattern gives full container coverage without overspray, resulting in optimal root development and water savings. A built in shutoff allows spray to easily be stopped when containers are sold.

The mini flow Grey Spitter has a 90 pattern and 3.0 GPH flow rate at 20 PSI designed for 1-3 gallon containers or 4-8" flower pots.

Spot-Spitters are designed to work at 15-25 psi supply pressure. Use Pressure Regulators to be sure your system is in this range.  Also use proper Filtration to avoid clogging from dirty water.  Use Primerus 1/8" Spaghetti Tubingto connect Spitters to your supply laterals.

Spot-Spitters are our prayers answered

We have over 500 drip emitters in three orchards. Everyday we either had emitters clogged or cracked or broken. But we also had miles of 1/4” tubing to these plants and the prospect of changing out all of them to 1/8” to utilize the Spot-Spitters had me that idea on the shelf for a year. Then I checked the website again and there was a 1/8” to 1/4” adapter! They are inexpensive and easy to install. Problem solved!

Water saving option for nursery

Converting much of my irrigation to these as water is getting tight with the ongoing drought in my area, collection of rain water is scarce and well water quality is declining, these cut my water use in half giving me more options.

Primerus Spot spitters

I’ve used Primerus Spot-Spitters for years. They last so many seasons that I’d forgot where I got them. With the product name right there on the product google led me to the right place. Grow irrigation fixed me up. These work great and drastically reduce wasting water.
