The tool works great, but there are shortcomings. It cannot hold an elbow fitting (anyway that I can figure). In many cases, I need three hands; one for the tubing, one for the fitting, and a third to grip the tool well enough for the tool to grip the tubing. Which, of course, came apart from the fitting loosely wandering in the tools' grip. That all being said, I'm not a professional irrigation installer, so maybe my own ignorance is playing too heavily here.
